GIFT ACCEPTANCE POLICY:
WNPA has a written gift acceptance policy to provide a predictable process for both the donor and WNPA. The policy assures the donor of confidentiality and of anonymity when requested, and outlines a process for review of gifts of real property, personal property, and of stocks and bonds. In these cases, the review must consider the potential exposure of WNPA to liability as well as the costs associated with maintenance and/or liquidation of the gifted property. Gifts for a restricted purpose must also be reviewed to assure the restricted purpose corresponds closely with the plans and purposes of WNPA.
